This is how you keep a LEGEND’s dome warm in style. When it comes to photography, it doesn’t get much more high profile than David LaChapelle. If our beanie could speak, it would defintely be talking mad trash to all the other beanies right now. Many thanks to the our good friends Nico, Philly-G and Tadi Rock at MADE for the endless support!
I don’t know what I love more … the fact that one of my childhood HipHop idols RAEKWON the Chef is sporting our BSTN cap to the fullest, or the fact that the dude is rocking a Manchester United jersey. BEASTIN’ salutes the Chef for keepin’ it Euro!
We hope you enjoy our small documentary of the BSTN x NIKE Destroyer project. MASSIVE PROPS to all the peeps that showed up to our official jacket handover despite the super nasty weather in Monaco. The event photos will be uploaded very soon! Big ups to our NIKE fam and everybody that supported us throughout this incredible project!
Check out Blackmilk sporting our Top Billin’ tee in the official trailer for his upcoming album. The Motorcity based MC/Producer is one of hiphop’s most prolific “underground” artists that is known for his unique beat-lacing and charismatic word play which makes this album one to look forward to!
I used to hate stretching … but when I discovered the Rosa Acosta stretch video, it totally changed my life. I realized how important stretching is for my body. Now I watch Rosa at least 5 times a day. Stretching is such a beautiful thing …
Biggie or Pac? Nas or Jigga? Rakim or LL Cool J? The “greatest MC of all times” topic has been around for quite some time now and still there is no real answer to the G.O.A.T. question.
Luckily here in Germany this question does not exist … why?, because there is one MC that is so far ahead of all other German Hip Hop acts that no one that has more than two brain-cells would ever dare to challenge the “KING OF RAP”.
Of course we are talking about the Berlin based MC Kool Savas who single handedly revolutionized the German Rap game with his break out single “King Of Rap” that was released in the year 2000. Since then Kool Savas has blessed us with bangers such as “Haus und Boot”, “D.U.T”, “Der Beste Tag Meines Lebens” and “Tod oder Lebendig”. Right now Savas is working on his highly anticipated new Album titled “John Bello Story III”.
To see the King Of Rap trade his crown for our BEASTIN’ Bodega Bommel Beanie makes us more than proud!
UK’s notorious Emcee Dizeee Rascal is back on the scene with his brand new video “Bonkers”. The video features our main man Armand Van Helden (sporting the 2 HYPE tee) and whole bunch of weird shit that is definitely worth checking out.

Comments Off on Baracuta x Beastin / YOU WIN SOME – YOU LOSE SOME
After successful collaborations with brands such as Nike and Cazal the Munich based fashion label BEASTIN scores another coup. In cooperation with Britain’s traditional BARACUTA the German designers present their own interpretation of the legendary G9 Harrington bomber jacket.
The fusion of the Munich-Manchester designs is a „all black everything“ highlighted by black satin lining, a collar in high quality black nappa leather and the distinctive side pockets. The custom-made BARACUTA x BEASTIN horn buttons show BEASTIN’s typical obsession with details. Inspired by the legendary rivalry between the English and German national football team the jackets left sleeve is decorated with a classy leather patch with the inscription “YOU WIN SOME- YOU LOSE SOME”. The patch also displays the results and the venues of one of the historical defeats of Germany and England. Additional pin packs allow to refine the G9 jacket with a waving English- and/or German flag as well as a lion’s head, the English lion or the Bavarian lion’s head.
Releasing the G9 bomber jacket in 1937 BARACUTA revolutionizes the casual outerwear industry. The company, founded by the two brothers John and Isaac Miller, initially distributed from a small textile fabric next to Manchester. As a result of BARACUTA’s major distribution to the United States during the fifties the brand’s international fame rose. Since then the iconic blouson was featured on the cover of international magazines many times, worn by Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra or Steve McQueen, e.g. In 1972 the G9 jacket became a trend in the Ska and Punk scene and. Even today it is on its secret mission with Daniel Craig alias James Bond on wide screen.
With its latest cooperation BEASTIN stands in line with former premium partners, such as Stussy and A Bathing Ape. The unique BARACUTA x BEASTIN G9 jacket will be showcased on 24.05.14 in the BSTN Store, Amalienstrasse 44 in Munich. From 24.05.14 on the jacket is exclusively available in the BSTN Store and at selected outfitters for 390 Euros.
